What this license covers

This license governs all paid SignTheChart courses, programs, workshops, live events, build events, memberships, and any private community that comes with them, including their modules, lessons, worksheets, slides, recordings, replays, transcripts, tools, and portals (the "Program Materials").

This license is part of, and governed by, our Terms of Purchase. If anything on this page appears to conflict with the Terms of Purchase, the Terms of Purchase control. Our Disclaimer also applies.

Templates delivered inside a program. If a course, workshop, or event includes templates, dot phrases, or other clinical documentation materials, those items are additionally governed by our Template License, which sets out how you may use them in your practice.

Ownership

The Program Materials, including the methods and frameworks taught in them, were created by Candice Elam, DNP, FNP-C and are owned by Nursing Current LLC d/b/a SignTheChart ("SignTheChart"). They are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property law.

Enrolling does not transfer ownership of anything to you. It grants you the license described below and nothing more.

Your license

Subject to your payment in full and your compliance with this license and our Terms of Purchase, SignTheChart grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Program Materials for your own individual learning and professional practice, as the enrolled participant only.

You are encouraged to apply what you learn to your own practice and your own career. That is the point.

You may not:

Share, send, forward, gift, sell, resell, sublicense, assign, or transfer your enrollment, your access, or your account credentials to any other person, including a colleague, coworker, classmate, or family member.
Allow anyone else to view, attend, or participate using your access. Enrollment covers one person.
Copy, download where downloading is not offered, screen record, screenshot, republish, post, or upload the Program Materials, in whole or in part, to any website, social media platform, file sharing service, drive, group, message board, or community.
Record any live session, call, or event, whether by audio, video, or screen capture.
Teach, re-teach, present, coach from, or deliver the Program Materials or the frameworks behind them to others, whether or not for a fee.
Repackage the Program Materials, or create derivative courses, programs, trainings, services, or products based on them.
Input the Program Materials into any artificial intelligence or automated content tool to summarize, rewrite, or generate derivative content, or to train, fine-tune, or ground any AI model.
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notice, trademark, attribution, or licensing language.

Any use beyond your own individual participation requires the prior written consent of SignTheChart.

Live sessions and recordings

We may record live sessions. By attending, you consent to being recorded and to our use of that recording, including as a product, a replay, or promotional material. If you prefer not to appear, attend with your camera and microphone off.

Recordings and replays we provide are Program Materials and are subject to this license in full.

Private communities

If your program includes a private community or group:

What other members share is theirs. You may not screenshot, quote, republish, or share any member's post, question, or personal or employment situation outside the community.
You may not post protected health information, patient identifiers, or employer confidential information in any community.
You may not use the community as a source of leads, a mailing list, or a recruiting or sales channel.
We may remove you, without refund, for conduct that is harassing, discriminatory, disruptive, or that promotes a competing offer.

Your professional judgment

The Program Materials are educational. They are not medical advice, clinical decision support, clinical protocols, or a standard of care, and materials addressing employment, contracts, compensation, or negotiation are not legal advice.

You retain full and independent professional judgment and full responsibility for every clinical decision, every entry you make in a patient record, and every employment decision you make. See our Disclaimer for the full terms.

How long your access lasts

Access duration is governed by Section 3 of our Terms of Purchase. Your license to use the Program Materials continues for as long as you retain lawful access and remain in compliance with this license.

Institutional, group, and academic licensing

If you want to bring a SignTheChart program to a practice, department, residency program, health system, or academic institution, or to enroll more than one person under a single arrangement, you need a separate written license from us.

We offer institutional and academic licensing, including workshop and seminar delivery. Contact support@SignTheChart.com and tell us what you have in mind.

Termination

This license terminates automatically and immediately, without refund, if you breach it, breach our Terms of Purchase, or initiate a chargeback or payment dispute.

On termination you must stop all use of the Program Materials, leave any private community, and destroy every copy in your possession or control.

Our ownership, your obligations regarding confidentiality and non-redistribution, and any accrued liability survive termination.

Reporting misuse and requesting permission

To request permission for any use beyond your own individual participation, or to report unauthorized sharing or redistribution, contact support@SignTheChart.com.

Governing law

This license is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, and any dispute is subject to the dispute resolution, jurisdiction, and venue provisions of our Terms of Purchase.
